Request freight coordination
VehicleHarbor can request a current RoRo or container quotation through regular logistics partners.

Sea vehicle export · China
Request a vehicle quotation with the named Chinese loading port, delivery term and included charges stated in writing.
What FOB means here
Under an FOB sale, the vehicle is delivered on board the vessel at the named Chinese port under the agreed Incoterms® rule.
The quotation and sales contract must identify the port and rule—for example, FOB Shanghai Port, China — Incoterms® 2020. Risk, documents and costs should not be inferred from the letters “FOB” alone.
Quotation boundary
The actual quotation controls. Charges should be itemized or clearly identified as included, excluded or quoted separately.
| Cost or responsibility | How it is handled |
|---|---|
| Vehicle and agreed specification | Identified in the vehicle quotation |
| China inland delivery and export handling | Included or itemized according to the written FOB offer |
| Delivery on board at the named port | Defined by the named FOB term and contract |
| International ocean freight | Quoted separately unless expressly included under another term |
| Cargo insurance | Buyer responsibility unless separately arranged |
| Destination charges, duties and registration | Not included unless expressly stated |
After the vehicle reaches port
Freight rates change by route, carrier, vessel schedule, vehicle size and quotation date.
VehicleHarbor can request a current RoRo or container quotation through regular logistics partners.
The vehicle can be handed over according to the agreed instructions of the buyer’s freight forwarder.
Handover point, documentation, cut-off time and charges must be agreed before shipment.

Estimated China-side timing
The estimate begins after the contract is signed, the required deposit is received and the vehicle specification is confirmed. Factory-order vehicles remain subject to the manufacturer’s production schedule.
Customs inspection, documentation, inland transport and port conditions may affect the final date.
FOB is not used for every route
Vehicles moving through Horgos require a separately agreed land-delivery term and cross-border transport arrangement. They should not be advertised as “FOB Horgos.”
